International postal money orders
| Acceptance and payment of international postal money orders in postal facilities of Ukrainian State Enterprise of Posts "Ukrposhta" are made in accordance with Rules of Performing Transfers by Individuals Outside Ukraine and within Ukraine under Ongoing Foreign Currency Non-trading Transactions and the Disbursement thereof In Ukraine approved by Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 496 of 29.12.2007 and under contracts signed with postal services of the other countries.
Ukrposhta provides services of ordinary international money orders, electronic international money orders and international COD money orders.
International ordinary money orders traffic exists:
- bilateral:
with Byelorussia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kirghizia, Latvia, Georgia, Tadzhikistan, Czech Republic, Belgium, Greece, Slovak Republic, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Syria and Bulgaria;
- unilateral (to Ukraine only):
with France.
International electronic money orders traffic exists:
with Russia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Byelorussia, Estonia, Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan (Dushanbe).
Exchange of COD postal items is realized:
- bilaterally:
with Latvia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Russia, Tadzhikistan, Georgia and Czech Republic;
- unilaterally (to Ukraine only):
with Slovak Republic and Germany.
For transmission of ordinary international money order a client shall fill in the TFP1 form; for transmission of electronic international money order he shall fill in the f.115 form; for sending an international money order in foreign currency it is necessary to fill in an application for transmission of cash, for sending a COD postal money order a customer has to fill in the TFP3 form and to present his passport, or other document that substitutes the passport, to postal employee.
International ordinary and electronic money orders in national currency are accepted and paid in all postal facilities. International electronic money orders in foreign currency are accepted and paid only in designated postal facilities.
In US dollars can be sent electronic money orders destined to Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Byelorussia, Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan (Dushanbe);
In Euro can be sent electronic money orders to Armenia and Estonia.
In US dollars can be paid out only electronic money orders received from Byelorussia. Electronic money orders received from other countries are paid only in the national currency.
For transmission of international postal money order a sender shall pay the appropriate amount in the national currency, depending on sum of the money order and the tariffs.

COD for insured postal items is taken as payment for a postal money order of the appropriate category and amount.
